Hornet and wasp trap-for plastic bottle

“the top-trap” has been used successfully for many years, both nationally and internationally, for controlling flying pests in orchards, vineyards and all kind of farming. It is made of tough, durable plastic material. Hooked onto a recycled plastic water bottle (filled with half a liter of bait mixture) and hung on branches of the plants to be defended, this trap becomes an economical, effective and environmentally friendly bio trap. FOR WASPS, HORNETS, ASIAN HORNET Half litre of beer + 2 tablespoon of sugar or honey Alternatively: Half litre of water + 3 tablespoons of sugar or honey + a glass of vinegar Alternatively: Sweet white wine (or white wine sweetened with sugar or honey) + 20 to 30 millilitres of mint syrup (roughly equivalent to a small glass) Asian hornet: we do suggest to use these baits for the spring and autumn trapping Designed to fit on a standard plastic bottle.

Introduction Queen Cells

Also known as Virgin Renaissance Cells enabling the rebirth of the queen.
Colonies are disinclined to accept virgin queen bees but these cells mimic a queen cell which they are likely to accept.
Seal the open end with a tissue thin piece of beeswax. This is made by warming and squeezing a piece of beeswax between the fingers. Introduce a virgin queen bee less than 48 hours old into the cell and close the lid. This has a ventilation hole. The queen will be accepted during the time it takes for her and the workers to remove the beeswax cap.

Made of plastic, fits inside an empty National Super and a Langstroth Super however, the feed hole in your crown board will have to be altered.
JUMBO model rectangular plastic feeder with 6 litre capacity.
Feeders are containers used to feed bees by supplying them with sugary nutrition in liquid form.
This model of external feeder with a rectangular base with lid is the largest we make, because it can contain up to 6 litres of nutrition.
It is positioned perfectly above the cable cover (between the cable cover and the roof), taking care to position the hole in the feeder centred on the hole in the inner cover.
Made of food-grade plastic, it allows to provide nourishment without disturbing the colony. Supplied with lid to prevent looting.

- Area 3 – Weight - We will ensure the font size complies with UK standard regulations. Weight in grams MUST be shown before (oz and/or lb).
- Area 4 - Name and address, or similar
- Area 5 - Country of Origin - Legally required, (England for example.)
- Area 6 - Best Before End Date - This would normally be the end of a year and is required on all labels.
- Area 7 - Lot number - State whether they are the same number on every label or consecutive (ie., L001, L002, L003 etc.,.) Only numbers can be consecutive not letters. A Lot No is required if honey is being sold via a third party.
