BOTTLE NOT INCLUDED “the top-trap” has been used successfully for many years, both nationally and internationally, for controlling flying pests in orchards, vineyards and all kind of farming. It is made of tough, durable plastic material. Hooked onto a recycled plastic water bottle (filled with half a liter of bait mixture) and hung on branches of the plants to be defended, this trap becomes an economical, effective and environmentally friendly bio trap. FOR WASPS, HORNETS, ASIAN HORNET Half litre of beer + 2 tablespoon of sugar or honey Alternatively: Half litre of water + 3 tablespoons of sugar or honey + a glass of vinegar Alternatively: Sweet white wine (or white wine sweetened with sugar or honey) + 20 to 30 millilitres of mint syrup (roughly equivalent to a small glass) Asian hornet: we do suggest to use these baits for the spring and autumn trapping Designed to fit on a standard plastic bottle.
